Located on the Niagara Escarpment, Highlands Nordic boasts stunning natural terrain that you can explore by accessing 24 km of both Classic and Skate cross country ski trails, 7 km of snowshoe trails and 8 km of fat bike trails. While the facility is operating a little differently this year in order to comply with all Public Health and Safety guidelines in the Red Zone, it continues to focus on offering guests an excellent experience.
Trail tickets may be purchased in person, but all visitors are required to complete a self-assessment screening test prior to entering the grounds. Masks must be worn at all times except while on the trails. Snowshoe rentals are available (ski rentals are not) and the Service Bench and ProShop are open. The Highlands Café is closed for the remainder of the season, but guests may use the building for a limited time to warm up, change or use the washroom. Lessons are available and must be reserved online.
